The course map
Eight modules in a sequence that builds on itself. Strategy first, content next, growth last.
The social media reality for dance schools
Why dance is different. Vanity vs business metrics. The honest funnel.
STRATEGY
Choosing your platforms
Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts. Pick two. Ignore the rest.
STRATEGY
Content pillars that actually work
Five pillars, the 60/30/10 rule, 30+ specific post ideas.
CONTENT
Creating content without it taking over your life
1-hour weekly session, batching, filming during class, three tools.
CONTENT
Posting strategy & cadence
When to post what. Reels vs feed vs Stories. Realistic frequency.
CONTENT
Safeguarding & consent on social
UK GDPR, permissions, faceless content, withdrawal of consent.
GROWTH
Growing & engaging community
First 200, next 2,000, parent advocates, comments & DMs.
GROWTH
Measuring what matters
Dashboard, 5 metrics that predict enquiries, quarterly review.
GROWTH
Strategy → Content → Growth. Most schools jump straight to “what should I post” without ever deciding why or where. The first two modules feel slower because they are. They make every later module shorter.
How the course works

Before you start · gather these things
None of this is essential, but if you have them ready the modules will go faster.
A SHORT NOTE BEFORE WE START
There is more bad advice about social media than almost any other subject. “Post every day at 7am”. “You need to be on TikTok or you will be left behind”. “Hashtags are dead”. “Hashtags are everything”. The result is that a lot of dance teachers feel either overwhelmed, behind, or vaguely guilty most of the time. None of that is necessary.
This course is written for an actual dance school owner with limited time, real children to keep safe, a small marketing budget, and a wish to fill classes. It assumes you already know what makes your school great. The work is helping the right people see that.
READY?
Let's start with the honest truth
Module 1 is the strategy reset. By the end of it you will know exactly which numbers to track, which ones to ignore, and where most schools quietly waste their time.
