Jump Into Dance
Jump Into Dance for primary schools
Jump Into Dance is a video-led dance programme for primary schools, covering EYFS, KS1 and KS2. It’s a joint venture between Teach.Dance and the British DanceSport Association (BDSA), and teachers don’t need any dance experience to use it.

How it works
A Teach.Dance and BDSA joint venture
Teach.Dance Limited provides Jump Into Dance, and the BDSA subsidises every school licence.
01
Teach.Dance
Provides Jump Into Dance, runs the platform, and looks after school licences, payments and support.
02
The BDSA
Created the programme with Teach.Dance and subsidises every school licence.
03
Your school
Buys one licence that covers every teacher, class and year group. You pay Teach.Dance by card or by invoice.
How the lessons work
A professional presenter leads each lesson on your classroom screen, while you stay in control from a phone or tablet. You can pause, skip between sections, switch to a harder version and read teacher cues as you move round the room.
Every lesson follows the same five parts: intro and warm up, routine teaching, a creative task, performance and reflection. Themes run from Mini Beasts in EYFS to Ancient Egypt in upper KS2, across ballroom, Latin, street, commercial, cultural and classical styles.
