Dear Dance Teacher,

Never underestimate the importance of making people feel like they belong 🫶

Dance is about so much more than learning routines, improving technique or winning trophies.

It’s about the friendships, confidence and memories made along the way. Some dancers love competing, others just enjoy coming to class every week, seeing their friends and having fun. And that’s absolutely fine!

Every dancer deserves to feel included, encouraged and valued.

And I think the same goes for us as teachers!

Running a dance school can sometimes feel quite lonely, but it really doesn’t have to be. Get to know other teachers, share ideas, support each other’s events and celebrate each other’s successes.

We’re all doing things a little differently, and that’s a good thing!

There’s so much we can learn from each other, and building those friendships and connections makes the dance community a better place for everyone, including our dancers.

There’s room for us all to grow, and we’re stronger when we support each other.
