The honest pitch

If you’re running a dance school, you already know the problem. Sunday evenings disappear into lesson plans. Mondays start with a parent inbox that’s grown overnight. Marketing keeps getting bumped because there’s always something more urgent. The admin never stops.

AI tools like ChatGPT can take a real chunk of that off your plate. Not by replacing the teaching, but by handling the drafting, the brainstorming, the structuring, the ‘one more thing to write’ that fills your week. This course is the practical, no-hype, dance-school-specific guide to making that work.

Already enrolled?

Start with Module 1 below, and pace yourself

All twelve modules are unlocked and ready. Scroll down to find Module 1 (or use the module list at the bottom of this page). You don’t have to do them in one sitting, in fact, you really shouldn’t.

The teachers who get the most from this course take it over 2-4 weeks. Two modules a week, with the homework done before moving on. The homework is where the real learning happens, not the reading.

If you’ve already used ChatGPT before, skim Modules 1-3 and start properly at Module 4 (Prompting fundamentals). That’s where it gets practical.

Is it for you?

Who this course is built for

Specifically built for dance teachers and school owners. Not a generic ‘AI for business’ course, every example and every template is dance school-specific.

Four kinds of dance teacher this is for

If you recognise yourself in any of these, the course will pay back the time you put in.

🏫

School owners juggling everything

Marketing, admin, lesson planning, parent communications, all on your shoulders. Time-saving compounds fastest for you. You’ll save 5+ hours a week within 30 days.

👩‍🏫

Teachers who also do admin

You’d rather be teaching, but the parent emails and class plans still need writing. The course gets the admin time down so you can focus on the bits you love.

📈

Teachers wanting to scale

You’re growing and need to think about systems. The course covers Custom GPTs you can share with team members and Projects that keep your brand voice consistent.

🤔

Teachers who’ve tried AI and gave up

If you’ve used ChatGPT before and felt it sounded generic or AI-flavoured, this course fixes that. Modules 6, 7, and 11 are the difference between ‘generic AI’ and ‘sounds like my school’.

The outcomes

What you’ll actually be able to do

By the end of the course, this is what’s genuinely changed. Not promises, just the practical reality teachers report after finishing.

Six things that’ll be true by the end

Every one of these maps to specific modules and specific homework. No vague ‘unlock your potential’ promises.

Write a parent email in 90 seconds

What used to take 15 minutes takes 90 seconds, and sounds more like you than before. Plus the difficult-conversation reply that used to need three drafts.

🗓

The 90-day implementation plan

Module 12’s concrete week-by-week plan. The thing that turns ‘I took the course’ into ‘my school’s been running on AI for three months and saving 5 hours a week’.

The format

How the course actually works

Not a video lecture series. Self-paced text and interactive lessons you work through at your own speed.

Four-step format, same in every module

Predictable structure means you know what you’re getting into every time.

1
Concept

Plain-English explanations with worked examples. No jargon, no overcooked metaphors. About 10-15 minutes of reading per module.

2
Templates

Paste-ready prompt templates you can copy directly into ChatGPT. Adapted for dance schools, fillable in 30 seconds. Save the ones that work.

3
Knowledge check

Three or four quick questions to make sure the module landed properly. Light, not exam-style.

4
AI Homework

Specific tasks to do in your actual ChatGPT, on your actual school’s work. The bit that turns reading into doing.

★ Top tip

The thing teachers who get most value all do

Take it over 2-4 weeks, not in one sitting. The course is designed to be paced. Each module’s homework needs about 30-60 minutes of actual ChatGPT use to land properly. Cram all twelve modules in a Saturday and you’ll remember 10% of it on Monday.

Better pattern: two modules per week, with the homework done before moving on. By week 6 you’re done, and every module has stuck because you actually used it on real school work, not just read about it.

Questions teachers ask before signing up

Frequently asked questions

Quick answers to the things that tend to come up.

Do I need a paid ChatGPT account to take this course?

You can start with the free plan. Modules 1-5 work fine on free ChatGPT. Modules 6-7 onwards (Custom Instructions, Memory, Projects, Custom GPTs) need the paid Plus plan (around £20/month). Module 3 walks you through the decision properly.

Most teachers we know start free, upgrade after a fortnight when they realise they’re hitting limits and want Custom GPTs.

How long will the course take me?

About 3 hours of content if you watch/read it linearly. Realistically, plan for 6-8 hours total because the homework after each module is where the value actually lands. The course is set up to be taken over 2-4 weeks at your own pace, not in a single sitting.

I’m not very techy. Will I be able to follow this?

Yes. If you can write an email, you can use ChatGPT. There’s no setup beyond making an account, no coding, no fiddly settings. The whole skill is about asking clear questions, which dance teachers do all day.

The course assumes zero technical background and explains every concept in plain English (no jargon, no acronyms without explanation).

Why ChatGPT and not Claude (or another AI tool)?

Both are excellent. ChatGPT leads on image generation built into chat, voice mode for hands-free use, and Custom GPTs you can share with your team. Claude leads on writing nuance and longer documents. We run a parallel course for Claude too if you’ve already invested there.

The bigger point: pick one tool and learn it properly for three months. Switching constantly is the most common mistake.

What if I’ve already been using ChatGPT for a while?

You’ll still get serious value, particularly from Modules 6 (Custom Instructions and Memory), 7 (Projects and Custom GPTs), and 11 (the prompt builder widget). Most teachers using ChatGPT casually are skipping the personalisation and workspace features that make it genuinely powerful.

If you’re confident on the basics, skim Modules 1-3 and start properly at Module 4.

Is the prompt builder widget actually useful?

Honestly, it’s the bit teachers tell us they use most after finishing the course. 22 task templates covering parent emails, marketing, lesson plans, policies, certificates, all of it. Your school context loaded once, used automatically in every prompt. Saved library that compounds.

Module 11 is built around it. Bookmark that page once you’ve finished the course, you’ll come back to it constantly.

What about safeguarding and student privacy?

Module 1 covers the safety basics from the start (the golden rules of what not to put into ChatGPT). Module 12 has a proper safeguarding deep-dive with six principles and a team-briefing template. Both are framed specifically for a children’s-activities business.

Short version: no full names paired with personal info, no financial details, no images of children, treat output as draft not decision. Properly handled, ChatGPT is safer than many tools schools already use.

Can I share what I learn with my team?

The course is licensed per-person. But what you build during the course (Custom GPTs, Projects, prompt libraries) can be shared with your team. Module 12 has a specific section on team training and a 5-sentence briefing template you can use.

For larger schools wanting team licences, get in touch and we can sort something.

What if AI tools change after I finish the course?

ChatGPT updates every few months. We update the course content when something material changes. The framework (RACE prompting, Custom Instructions, Projects, the toolkit features) is stable. Specific model names and exact UI details will shift, the underlying skills don’t.

Ready to start?

Twelve modules. About three hours of content. A prompt builder you’ll keep using. A 90-day plan that actually changes your week. Properly worth your time.
