1. Who we are
Teach.Dance is a trading name of Teach Dance Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15135896. Registered office: 10 Churchill Way, Nelson, BB9 6RT. Email: [email protected].
2. Using the site, app and community
You must be 16 or over to create an account. Please use the site, app and community lawfully and kindly, and follow our Community guidelines. In particular, don’t:
- post anything illegal, harmful, hateful or that bullies or harasses anyone;
- share images of anyone under 18 except as our guidelines allow;
- share your login, or access accounts or areas you’re not allowed into;
- try to hack, overload or disrupt the site, or copy content by automated means;
- send spam or advertising that we haven’t agreed to.
3. Our content
We, or the people who license content to us, own the content on the site and app, including courses, videos, text, logos and the Teach.Dance and Mini Movers Dance names. You may view it and use it for your own personal learning. You may not copy, share, sell or republish it unless our Terms of sale and membership or a course schedule allow it.
4. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post or upload. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display and moderate it so we can run the site, app and community. For community posts, this licence ends when you delete the post or close your account, except for copies we must keep (see Records and retention). Work you upload for assessment is covered by our Terms of sale and membership. You’re responsible for what you post, and you must have the right to post it, including consent from anyone shown in it.
5. Reporting content and how we moderate
You can report a post, comment, profile or group using the report button, or by emailing [email protected]. How we review reports, the action we take and how to appeal are explained in our Community and moderation policy. If you’re worried about someone’s safety, see Safeguarding and Prevent. In an emergency, call 999.
6. Links to other sites
We may link to other websites. We don’t control them, and we’re not responsible for their content or how they use your data.
7. Availability and changes
We try to keep the site and app available, but we can’t promise they’ll always be available or free of errors. We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of them, for example for maintenance or security. If this affects something you’ve paid for, your rights under our Terms of sale and membership still apply.
8. Suspending accounts
We may remove content, or suspend or close an account, if these terms or our Community guidelines are broken, as explained in our Community and moderation policy.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer aren’t affected. Otherwise, we’re not liable for losses that weren’t foreseeable, or for business losses, such as lost profits, where you use the site for your own business. Free content is provided to help you, and we don’t promise particular results from it.
10. Your privacy
How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy notice.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here with its date, and tell you about significant changes by email or in the app.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
