UKAdance joins Teach.Dance – leading the way for the next generation of dance teachers

We are delighted to announce that UKAdance is the first dance association to join the innovative Teach.Dance platform. This exciting partnership places UKA in a strong position to connect with the dance teachers of tomorrow and give their members new ways to learn, develop and grow.

As part of the partnership, UKAdance will bring their teacher training online for the first time. All training will be available exclusively on the Teach.Dance website and mobile app, giving members the flexibility to learn wherever they are.

Learning without limits

UKA members will be able to access training from any location, on any device, and at a pace that suits them. Whether at home, in the studio or travelling between classes, members can fit learning around their own schedules.

This makes professional development more accessible than ever, opening up valuable opportunities for dance teachers and helping to raise standards across the industry.

A place to connect

Members will also benefit from dedicated community spaces on the Teach.Dance platform, where they can share experiences, ask questions and connect with other dance professionals. These communities are designed to encourage support, collaboration and the sharing of ideas.

More than qualifications

Alongside formal qualifications, Teach.Dance will become a hub for ongoing learning. UKA members will have access to top up courses, syllabus content and a library of resources, all designed to help them excel in their careers. Everything they need to continue developing as a dance professional will be at their fingertips.

David Roberts CEO UKAdance said:
“We are thrilled to be the first dance association to join Teach.Dance. This is an important step in making our training more flexible and accessible for our members, while continuing to support the highest standards in dance teaching.”

Jackie Sanderson, founder of Teach.Dance and former UKA President, said:
“UKAdance has always been committed to supporting dance teachers. By joining Teach.Dance, they are taking that support to the next level, offering training, resources and community in one place. This will make a real difference to dance teachers now and in the future.”
