This policy explains how you earn your certificate and when it arrives, and what happens if you need a replacement, want to pause or decide to stop. We want those moments to be simple and fair. Jackie and Jess

In short

  • Some certificates are digital and issued straight away when you pass; others within 10 working days. The course page says whether a printed certificate is included.
  • Replacement certificates cost £15, or nothing if the mistake was ours.
  • You can pause for up to 6 months in total.
  • If you bought online, you usually have 14 days to cancel, unless you chose to start straight away and have started.
  • Memberships run for 12 months, paid monthly or annually.

Your certificate

Your certificate is issued once you've passed everything the course requires. Some certificates are digital and are issued straight away when you pass. Where a course includes tutor assessment and quality assurance, we aim to issue the certificate within 10 working days of passing. Each course page says whether a printed certificate is included. Your certificate shows your name, the course and the date, and states that the course is not a regulated qualification.

Replacement certificates

Ask us at [email protected]. We check your identity first. A replacement costs £15. It's free if the error was ours. We don't charge VAT.

Pausing

You can pause for up to 6 months in total and restart where you left off.

Cancelling and withdrawing

If you bought online, you normally have 14 days from purchase to cancel and get a refund. At checkout you can choose to start straight away by ticking a box to say you want immediate access and understand you'll lose your 14-day right once you start. If you tick it, then once you click Start course and access the content, you can't cancel and there's no refund. Until you do, the normal 14-day right applies. Your order email confirms what you agreed. If content is faulty or not as described, you still have your legal rights. To cancel within the 14 days, use Account > Subscriptions, or email [email protected] saying you want to cancel. We'll confirm by email.

Memberships, including Mini Movers Dance, run for 12 months. You can pay monthly (12 monthly payments) or annually up front, usually at a discount. After the 14-day period (see above), you can't cancel part-way through the 12 months, and we don't refund part of the term, except where the law gives you a right to a remedy. The 12-month commitment and the total cost are shown before you pay and in your confirmation email. After the first 12 months, annual memberships renew for another 12 months, and we email you a reminder 30 days before. Monthly memberships continue month by month, and you can cancel with 1 month's notice. Your Mini Movers Dance certificate, and your right to call yourself a Mini Movers Dance teacher, are valid only while your membership is active. Full details are in our Terms of sale and membership. This doesn't affect your other legal rights. We keep your records as set out in Records and retention.

Withdrawn certificates

A certificate can be withdrawn if it was issued in error, or after proven malpractice (see Malpractice).
